On Friday 26th April the team celebrated Rob Abraham’s 6 year tenure at Morleys by hosting a farewell lunch. Rob was appointed as Managing Director in February 2018 and during this time has been instrumental in transforming the business into a market leading proposition for the supply of furniture and wider FF&E design services to education, commercial and public sectors.

His drive and determination for both the success and growth of the business, alongside a genuine passion to strive to improve learning environments in the UK, has seen Morleys go from strength to strength, navigating particularly challenging periods throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, the subsequent impact on supply chains and raw material pricing and availability, and more recently inflation and the cost of living crisis. Despite these hurdles the business achieved a significant growth milestone last year.

Addressing the team Rob commented: “Thank you for making the last six and a half years such an amazing experience, we have achieved so much and that is down to the contribution, hard work and endeavour of everyone in this business. I am confident you are in great hands to take the business forward and I look forward to hearing about your successes. I will miss you all but will be keeping in touch. I wish you all the best for the future.”

The executive senior leadership team will lead Morleys into its next exciting chapter, spearheaded by Adam Smith and David Green, both of whom have over six years’ experience within the company, as the team continues to build and grow the success of the business.
