We are thrilled to share our experience at an incredible event hosted by Proactive Young People C.I.C. that aimed to provide students with unique insights into the professional world. Our Managing Director, Adam Smith, had the pleasure of participating in the Business Leader’s Speed Interviewing event at Wootton Upper School, and it was truly an inspiring occasion.
The event was designed to allow students to engage with a variety of business leaders, including Adam, through a rapid-fire interview format. This gave students the chance to ask questions about the guest’s role, the path they took to get into their chosen career, and the challenges and rewards that come with their jobs. Adam enjoyed sharing his journey and offering advice on how to navigate the professional world, including the importance of resilience and adaptability.
What made this event particularly valuable was the opportunity it provided for students to explore the wide array of career options available. By engaging with professionals from different fields, the students were able to hear firsthand about the diverse roles that exist in the workforce. This type of exposure helps them better understand which career paths they might be interested in pursuing in the future.
Proactive Young People C.I.C. has done a fantastic job of bridging the gap between education and the real world, equipping students with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their futures. Events like these are invaluable in helping young people gain clarity and confidence as they begin to think about their careers.
