FF&E Legacy Specialists

Using bespoke and innovative technology we assess the condition of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) across an estate to seamlessly produce detailed reports that save you time and money when it comes to procuring new FF&E.

If your project involves the consolidation of an existing estate, relocation to a new building, refurbishment or you simply require a detailed inventory of your assets, then we can help.

Legacy Surveys

Our comprehensive auditing software enables us to produce accurate reports with interactive analytical data so each individual product can be evaluated and tracked from its original location to its new destination.

Each item is photographed, assessed, scored and catalogued with minimal time and disruption on site. The level of detail contained within our surveys provides you with a reliable assessment of what FF&E can be repurposed and its life expectancy, helping you to make informed decisions. Our reports will demonstrate the cost-savings you make through re-using suitable FF&E and the amount of CO2 emissions prevented from repurposing FF&E.

Legacy surveys offer a value proposition as part of the project lifecycle by acting as a toolkit to save you money in the procurement process and by helping you to achieve your sustainability objectives through circular-economy best practice.

Asset Management

Each individual asset is identified and tagged with an industrial strength QR code and scanned into our bespoke software, allowing us to accurately track each item and creating an accurate asset register.

Having identified legacy FF&E, our furniture consultants will work in partnership with you to identify any requirements for new FF&E, using their expertise to guide and advise on styles, functionality, and finishes.

Revit Design Integration

Following a detailed legacy survey and furniture consultation we use the data captured to integrate your repurposed and new FF&E into 3D room plans to help you visualise exactly where your items will be placed.

Using Revit families within BIM software the layouts and specifications are detailed and dimensionally accurate, with colour coordination to visually distinguish legacy versus new. This provides you with a precise floorplan and a clear drawing demonstrating the FF&E location across your estate.

Project Management

A dedicated Project Manager will be on hand throughout your project to ensure a consistent point of contact, regular communication and updates, and to make sure your project is delivered on time and within budget.

Once a full FF&E schedule has been finalised, we take away the stress and complexity of arranging the removal and transfer of furniture and equipment to your new location, managing the safe and secure decant and installation of your assets.

Our team of highly experienced project managers hold CSCS and SSSTS accreditation and attend site to ensure the project runs smoothly and to conduct a final sign-off, ensuring all FF&E is in quality condition and in the correct location ready for you to start using the space.

Carbon Reduction

The work we do today supports you to make more sustainable choices for the world of tomorrow.

Almost 50% of the education sector’s CO2 emissions stem from the procurement decisions made by schools. Taking positive steps to reduce our carbon footprint is a responsibility we all recognise is important. By carrying out legacy surveys, we identify FF&E we can recycle, reuse or repair. Repurposing FF&E in this way prevents waste and the unnecessary manufacture and transportation of new products, helping to support a circular-economy approach and long-term sustainable decisions that reduce our impact on the environment.

In a 12-month period we prevented 960,000 KG of Co2 from being emitted into our atmosphere using the data from our reports.

This is equivalent to the weight of 3,692 African elephants!

Cost-Savings

Our legacy surveys are designed to identify ways to save you money and add value to the procurement process by reusing FF&E that is fit for purpose. For example, over a 12-month period we catalogued 138,774 items and generated £7.2 million of savings for our clients.
